“Strong reasons make strong actions.” – William Shakespeare (1564-1616)

THE “Run Du30 Run for 2016 President Movement” came to see the light of day on Saturday at the Gaston Park in our City of Golden Friendship. Although few in number, the beauty of it all is that the movement is unique in that for the first time in Philippine history, it is the common tao from every nook and cranny who are starting, on their own without any help from the Imperial Manila, the trapos and the filthy rich, the caravan from all over the archipelago and to merge in Davao City during the city’s culmination of the Kadayawan festival on Aug. 28.

In the briefing made, I understand that the group would be divided into smaller groups so that all the areas in Mindanao would be covered starting last Saturday until Aug. 28. Some are proceeding to the Caraga region and the Bukidnon areas while others would be proceeding to the Zamboanga peninsula and the Armm up to Sulu, and Basilan island.

My understanding is that group of former Iligan Mayor Franklin Quijano would return to Iligan and then proceed to the Misamis Occidental areas by Sunday stopping over Clarin in Misamis Occidental for lunch thereat and then to sleep in Sapang Dalaga on Sunday night. Thereafter, the caravan would tour the Zamboanga peninsula with stops over at Dipolog City, Pagadian City and Zamboanga City. Others would be going the Armm – Cotabato, Lanao Sur, Marawi City, Maguindanao, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi. There is also a plan to have some representatives from Palawan, especially Puerto Princesa City.

I was also informed that the group of former congresswoman Ching Plaza would cover the Caraga––Agusan del Norte and Sur as well as the province and city of Surigao.

What is certain is that the poor people of the Philippines would hold some sort of a People Power on Aug. 28 at the Kadayawan Festival in Davao City and convince Davao City Mayor Rodrigo “Super Digong” Duterte to accept the will of the Run Du30 Run 4 2016 President Movement as their presidential candidate complete with all candidates for the May 9, 2016. And the masa are confident that “Super Digong” is one man who will never run away from a good fight for the “masa para sa masa.”

Because the money to be spent starting last Saturday up to the last day of the elections will all come from the masa, Super Digong will not be held hostage, as usual, by Imperial Manila, the trapos and the filthy rich because he will owe his victory and those of his candidates only to the poor who are the most generous people in our country, unlike the Imperial Manila, the trapos and the filthy rich whose so-called contributions are tied to their debilitating greed.

Believe you me, the teeming millions of the poor, who are indeed the sovereign, will definitely present to Duterte our humble petition for him to run for President. And on the day of Mayor Du30’s filing of his certificate of candidacy as well as those of his complete slate, from the highest to the lowest elective positions, we would, without fail, present to our candidates our “ant-type” strategy for having a landslide victory using our very own scarse resources without any financial contributions from those afflicted with debilitating greed.

Once more, kindly bear in mind that in the1986 snap presidential elections, most if not, all the officers of the military, the police, the men, women and the LGBTs in government were awash with all the money stolen from our government coffers, and despite the fact that the Comelec proclaimed as winner and sworn into office the then dictator Ferdinand Edralin Marcos, the poor Pinoys disregarded the 1973 Constitution of Ferdinand E. Marcos and instead installed the late Corazon C. Aquino as our President and the rest of her team.

People Power was born and won all over the world only because of the poor. We did that before and since then, we have learned our lessons so well that we have, mind you, perfected and mastered the art in the making of a President.

We are going to multiply the People Power on May 9, 2016 by our chosen strategy: “The ant-type” approach – the poor helping the poor. Tsada, di ba?
••
“An ounce of action is worth a ton of theory.” – Friedrich Eagles (1820-1895) German Social philosopher
As Victor Hugo has instructed the world that an “army can be stopped but not an idea that has come of age,” the teeming millions of the poor people of Mindanao-Sulu-Palawan-Tawi-Tawi are now confident that the entire country is convinced that the idea of having a Mindanaoan as President is the most exciting thought prevailing in the country today. Since we, the poor, have patiently waited for almost a century now (from 1935) for our time to have a Mindanaoan run our country as President, lasting peace and posterity has become unstoppable. We cannot wait any longer.

For the nth time, I dare say that the day has come when the teeming millions of the poor people of Mindanao-Sulu-Palawan-Tawi-Tawi and elsewhere are slowly but surely employing the ant-strategy if not, philosophy in making certain that on May 9, 2016, our country will be ruled by tough-talking yet well loved and respected Duterte. Or the poor Mindanaoans will inaugurate the Independent Federal Republic of Mindanao-Sulu-Palawan-Tawi-Tawi with Duterte and his complete slate as our first public officials.

So, like the ants, let us just focus on our work and let us not be fooled by the BBL and the PCOS, the digital electronic dagdag-bawas.

So what shall it be? Concon simultaneously with the May 9, 2016 elections or People Power in Mindanao only?
Tsada, di ba?
