OFW Family party-list Rep. Roy Señeres said he would run for President because none of the present presidential contenders has shown a program for the 15 million contractual employees in the country.

Señeres is a lawyer who served as the country’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates. He also served as chairman of the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC).

Señeres said the first thing he would do if elected President is get rid of an administrative order issued in 1988 that legalizes contractualization.

The party-list representative said his running mate, possibly a bishop, and senatorial candidates under the Partidong Manggagawa at Magsasaka ng Pilipinas, would be announced by Sunday.
