THIEVES will steal even inside the church.
This, as Police City Director Antonio Faro Ola-guera advised the general public to be vigilant when they attend church this yuletide season because thieves will steal even if you are inside the church.
Early morning yesterday, a student who was crying outside the Nazareno Church, here early morning yesterday, after her bag was snatched while she and her classmates were listening to the priest’s sermon. “Gibutang ra man to niya sa kilid iyang bag. Unya paglingi niya wa na diha. Wa gyud mi nakabantay kinsa’y nagkuha,” one of the student’s classmate told the Gold Star Daily.
“We have constant advisory nga magbantay jud kanunay. Never leave your valuables kay ang mga laaw karon wala naman gipili nga lugar, dili na mahadlok sa ginoo,” said Olaguera.
“Ubay-ubay naman unta tag nadakpan,” Olaguera added. (Shiela Mae Butlig)
