THE Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) yesterday pressed charges against 18 drug suspects who were arrested in a crackdown last week in the Agora area in Lapasan, Barangay 23, and Consolacion.

The PDEA filed the complaints before the City Prosecutor’s Office in connection with the Dec. 23 operations.

The complaints filed range from the maintenance of drug den,  visitors and employee of drug den,  possession of illegal  drugs, and drug use, said Red Bajao, PDEA spokesperson.

Bajao identified those charges as Angelito Eleuterio and Rolando Sebrero, Franky Pacturan, Oliver Ramas, Seriboy Rosales, Rhuby Saningay, Tyron de Guzman,  Leonard Jhon Maree Pinakain,  Jodybon Palomar, Efren Bancale, Marcos Gayas, Jhon Paul Padrigao, Arsenio  Morales, Marion Romero, Daryl Rocha, Leonardo Degracia, Alarico Ramas,  and Ruel Ramas.

PDEA agents and police officers arrested the suspects in a crackdown that started at 11:45 am on Wednesday.

The narcotics agents were armed with search warrants that covered four suspected drug dens.

PDEA regional director Wilkins Villanueva said law enforcers confiscated bundles of marijuana and suspected shabu valued at some P1.175 million.
