Each family will receive Php 1, 000 worth of food pack which contains rice, cooking oil, canned goods, milk, coffee, noodles, sugar, and Oishi crackers.

Responding to the call of Pope Francis for mercy and compassion among the poor, this year’s BOB is in partnership with the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) through the Archdioceses and Dioceses which identified beneficiaries and prepared venues. The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) support the BOB as institutional partners.

As his way of sharing his blessings to communities after celebrating milestones, Metrobank Group Founder and Chairman Dr. George S.K. Ty initiated BOB in 2011. Instead of giving-out “ang-paos,” the project provides P10 million worth of food packs to be distributed to 10,000 families nationwide

The sharing of BOB will continue even after the Chinese New Year celebration in cities around the National Capital Region and in provinces in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.  Attached herewith are the scheduled dates and venues of food bags distribution. . pr
