DSWD-10 regional director Nestor Ramos yesterday said politicians who are seeking seats in government in the May elections should respect the 4Ps beneficiaries’ right to suffrage.

“Dili kay ilang hinadlokon nga kon dili moboto sa  ila, ingnon dayon nila  nga  panason ang ilang ngalan sa master list sa 4Ps,” Ramos told the Mediakonek forum at the Cagayan de Oro Press Club.

He said the DSWD or anby of its representatives also has no right to dictate 4Ps beneficiaries on who they should vote for.

“Kon pananglit ang usa  ka 4Ps  beneficiary magso-ot sa t-shirt nga na-ay  ngalan ug  dagway sa politiko nga iyang gusto, dili nato siya mabut-an kay iya man kanang katungod, nungka, nga pogson siya sa politiko pagso-ot sa iyang  t-shirt,  nga na-ay iyang ngalan ug dagway,” Ramos said.

To date, he said, there are 235,855 4Ps beneficiaries in northern Mindanao.

“Ang akong message ma-o ni: walay si bisan kinsang politiko nga makatangtang sa ngalan sa  4Ps benefeciaries sa listahan sa  4Ps master list,” Ramos assured.

He said only he can delist a 4Ps beneficiary in the region. “Kon pananglitan, na-ay iyang ma-commit nga  violation sa iyang pagka membro sa 4Ps, kana  nga panahon mahimong matangtang ang iyang ngalan  gikan sa master list sa 4Ps,” Ramos said.
