The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA 10) and the Philippine National Police – Misamis Oriental Provincial Command (MOPC) has intensified their anti-drug campaign for the past few days by arresting more than 10 suspected drug personalities.
PDEA 10 regional director Adrian G. Alvariño identified those arrested drug personalities as Armand Mamarinta, 34, and a resident of Purok 16, Poblacion, Valencia City, Bukidnon; Tata Datumanong, 56 and a resident of Zone 6, Barra, Opol, Misamis Oriental and Fatima Dumpi, 43 and incumbent barangay councilor of Barangay 31.
Mamarinta was arrested through search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Judge Wilfredo Devera Jr. Recovered during the operation were nine big sachets of suspected shabu weighing 60 grams with the street value of 270 thousand.
Also arrested in separate raids by the composite team were Dalton Cumando of Purok 5, 24-A and FortunatoBeronilla, 43, and a resident of Purok Quezon-A, Brgy San Luis.
