BUTUAN City — Unknown gunmen riding in tandem has struck again. This time killing a suspected big-time drug pusher and an ex-convict in separate incidents.
On Sunday, Cabadbaran City police reported of a shooting incident in Barangay Mabini at around 2:20 pm.
Police identified the fatality as Faisal Mamao, 28, single, who originally hailed from Lanao province but has since been living in Purok 3, Barangay Mabini, Cabadbaran City.
According to the PNP report, Mamao was in the Cabadbaran City Police No. 3 Drug Watch list when he was shot dead afternoon of October 9 by riding in tandem suspects.
Meanwhile in Bayugan City that same day, City Chief of Police Senior Supt. Reynante Sibayton identified the victim as Danilo Pepito Dayson, 37, resident of Purok 11 Sibagat, Agusan del Sur.
Dayson who was arrested in the past due to involvement in illegal drugs and was in the police’s drug watch list in the adjacent town of Sibagat, Agusan del Sur.
Dayson was shot dead by riding in tandem suspects in Barangay Wawa, Bayugan City.
