The street families who of Cagayan de Oro city graduated from the Community-Based Livelihood Training received their certificates of completion at a graduation ceremony held here.

The recipients are very thankful to the city government for giving them the opportunities to finish vocational courses.

“I never thought that I would be able to wear a black toga,” said Reah Marie Cainglet, one of the graduates for housekeeping.

City Social Welfare and Development Officer Teddy Sabuga-a, Dulce Potenciano and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) representatives handed the certificates to 1,079 graduates of the short-term skills training program, a joint endeavor of the city government and Tesda.
