Supt. Roel Lami-ing, Gingoog Chief of Police, identified the victims as Cpl. Beinvenido Lagaran, 40, married a resident of Butuan City, while the public school teacher was identified as Raymondjay T. Jamorol 28, single, and a resident of Barangay Upper Natubo, Jasaan, Misamis Oriental.

Both died on the spot said Lami-ing.

Lagaran was riding his motorcycle traveling heading east going to Gingoog City when he accidentally collided with another motorcycle driven by Jamorol, who was coming from the opposite direction, said Lami-ing.

Lagaran was member of Army’s 58th Infantry Battalion based in Sitio Limcomohan, Barangay Binacalan, here.

Jamorol was assigned at Malunsagay Elementary School in Barangay Malunsagay in Claveria town.

The teacher was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol said Lami-ing.
