Bernales, who is acting executive judge of the Regional Trial Court here, signed the commitment order yesterday morning, according to Divisoria police chief Senior Insp. Maricris Mulat.

The suspects–Warren Amarga, Joel Jonson, Angel Mae Rada, Joan Escalante, and a minor (17 years old)–were moved from a detention facility at the Maharlika police headquarters to the Lumbia prison at around 9 am.

Mulat said the suspects are to wait for the arraignment in connection with the robbery with homicide aggravated by rape that was filed against them by Dayo’s brother Ricafort.

About the same time the suspects were being moved to the Lumbia jail, Dayo was laid to rest at a public cemetery in Barangay San Juan in  Balingasag, Misamis Oriental.
