Iligan City — The Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology is slated to host a forum on the Association of Southeast Asian Nations today.

Dr. Sukarno D. Tanggol, MSU-IIT Chancellor said the forum aims to update stakeholders on the accomplishments of the Asean.

The forum will be held at the IIT gymnasium, from 8:00 am to 12 noon. Among the national officials expected to grace the forum are Secretary Martin Andanar of the Presidential Communications and Operations Office; Mussolini Didasan, who is a member of the Bangsamoro Transition Commission; officials from the National Economic and Development Authority; Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency; the national head of the Philippine Information Agency; and other government agencies.

On Monday, the MSU -IIT hoisted the flags of all ten member-nations of the Asean, along with the Asean emblem on its grounds.

The member-nations of the Asean are Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei Darusalam, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar.
