Search for best performing capitol worker now accepts nominations

The search for best performing employees of the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental for 2016 is now open for nomination.

The secretariat of the PMT for Strategic Performance Management System of the Provincial Planning and Development Office is now accepting nomination entries until Monday, June 26. Each of the Capitol’s department heads can nominate three (3) of their best bets to compete with other contenders for the 10 top placers.

The nominees shall comply with the criteria as provided in Executive Order No. GYVBE 2015-016 or An Executive Order Adopting the Revised Performance Management Team Internal Guidelines and Procedures, such as Exemplar Performance – 40% (must have a very satisfactory or outstanding accomplishment in two rating periods; Operational Effectiveness – 20% (administrative or management practices that have a positive organizational effect); Customer Engagement – 20% (always goes all the way to make people comfortable and satisfied even under pressure and occupied with work; customer feedback on excellent performance; and Innovation and Creativity – 20% (time or money-saving ideas; initiative used in accomplishing work assignments.

The average annual performance rating of the individuals for the first and second semesters of 2016 must be very satisfactory or outstanding.

The means of verification for this measure is the Individual Performance Commitment Review with rating for January-June 2016 and July-December 2016 that are stamped “received” by the Provincial Human Resource and Management Office.

Also, the nominees shall have no more than four tardiness or under time in a month, for the 12 months of 2016; and shall have no unauthorized absences except for absences due to sickness or death of immediate family member up to the fourth civil degree of consanguinity and/or affinity.

Adding that he would bring the top 10 placers to Manila to witness the coronation night of the Miss Philippines Earth 2017 on July 15 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena free of fare with cash allowance. Aside from this, they will also receive incentive equivalent to one month salary. (pio misor)
