THE City Council committee on finance, budget and appropriations chaired by Councilor Edna Dahino is set to tackle the proposed resolution authorizing the city mayor to sign for and in behalf of the city the Memorandum of Agreement with the Early Childhood Care and Development Council (ECCDC) regarding the establishment of the National Child Development Center in the city.
The main project, with an estimated cost of P2.3 million, will be funded by the ECCDC.
Under the agreement, the ECCD Council shall obligate the allotment and release the funds to the city and provide the standard plans, technical specifications and Program of Works, among others.
For its part, the city shall provide a main project site with a minimum lot area of 250 square meters and submit the Program of Works (POW) to the ECCD Council and ensure that the main project is undertaken in accordance with the ECCD Council’s NCDC plans and specifications, among others. (clo)
