THE capitol is preparing to honor newly crowned Miss Scuba Philippines 2017 Sherlyn Legaspi Doloriel on her return, and before she represents the country to an international competition scheduled in Malaysia.
Doloriel bagged the coveted crown after besting 14 other candidates at the Plaza Atrium, Resorts World in Manila on Tuesday.
She was Misamis Oriental’s bet during the just-held competition.
“Thank you for bringing pride and honor to the province. Take pride, Misamisnons!” reads part of Emano’s prepared message to Doloriel.
Doloriel would represent the country to the Miss Scuba International 2017 in Kota Kinabalu.
A certified professional licensed diver and described by the capitol as a “fighter for the ocean,” she bested 14 other candidates.
Before her victory in Pasay, Doloriel bagged the Miss Cagayan de Oro 2016 crown, and emerged as best in swimsuit in Miss Philippines-Earth 2017. (misor-pio)
