Senior Insp. Maricris Mulat, chief of the City Drug Enforcement Unit of the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office, said police filed two separate cases for drug pushing and illegal possession of drugs against 20-year old Lahmoden Ampuan of Tarak, Lanao del Sur.

Mulat said Ampuan namedropped his father who is said to be a police officer based in Saguiran, Lanao del Sur, and asked for a favor.

Police said Ampuan yielded 55 grams of suspected shabu in four packs with an estimated value of P357 thousand when authorities pounced on him at around 2:30 pm Tuesday.

Mulat said Ampuan was supposed to deliver the suspected shabu here but was caught red-handed when he transacted with an agent who posed as a buyer.

She said police also seized from Ampuan marked money and a cellphone.

“Ingon niya bag-o lang siya ani nga negosyo and napugos siya og pamaligya kay bag-o siyang minyo unya wala siyay insakto nga trabaho, aron mabuhi niya iyang pamilya,” Mulat said.
