Chief Insp. Rogelio Labor, Jasaan Municipal Police Station Commander, identified the victim as Antonio Dulas, 24, a resident of the said town.

Dulas sustained two gunshot wounds in the head that caused his instantaneous death.

As usual, police claimed the victim tried to shoot it out with arresting operatives.

Recovered at the crime scene were the P500 bill which served as buy-bust money, two sachet containing suspected shabu, and a .45 caliber pistol.

Labor said the incident took place at around 11:45 pm Tuesday at the old public market of the said town.

Sa dihang gihimo namo ang buy-bust nakamalay ang subject nga pulis iyang ka negotiate. Mao tong gihulbot niya iyang pistola ug gipusil niya ang mga pulis maayo nalang walay naigo,” Labor narrated.

Dulas was the 60th person to be killed in Misamis Oriental in a police operation.
