THE capitol will throw another “boodle fight” today to culminate this year’s Meat Safety Consciousness Week.

Misamis Oriental veterinarian Benjamin Resma said they will be preparing 25 roasted pigs that weigh 35 kilograms each, 100 kilograms of pork adobo, and 600 sticks of pork barbeque.

Resma said the boodle fight today aims to show consumers in the province that the Misamis Oriental- and Mindanao-produced pork are safe for human consumption.

“Aron mapakitanga safe uglimpyoangatongbaboydirisalalawiganugsa Mindanao,” Resma said.

The capityol said today’s boodle fight is also Gov. YevgenyVincenteEmano’s way of showing his support to the local swine industry.
