The construction began during the first year of City Mayor Oscar Moreno’s first term with the aim to resolve the tight classroom setting of the current CDONHS situated at 2nd Street Nazareth.

Kini ang pinakadako nga tunghaan sa dibisyon sa Cagayan de Oro ug garbo sa syudad. Kini ang mulatid usab sa kaugma-on sa Cagayan de Oro,” Moreno said.

The city government aims to provide solution to the current emergency classes of the schools and to let children grow normally.

“The children are not growing normally because of the morning and afternoon shift,” he added.

The construction is expected to be completed and utilized by the students during the city fiesta on August this year.

Moreover, the mayor hopes that there will be more classroom building and services that will be given to the people in his second term with the cooperation of the 18th City Council members led by Vice mayor Raineir Joaquin Uy. (cio)
