THE City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office (Clenro) has launched the dry run of its campaign of “no segregation, no collection policy” of garbage among the 40 urban barangays of the city.
The launch of the dry run is also in line for the commemoration of the Environmental Month this June.
In a press conference yesterday, Engr. Armen Cuenca, Clenro chief, said the dry run will run until June 30.
Cuenca added that by July 1, they fully implement the policy which then include 13 other barangays of District 1 and six barangays of District 2 of the city.
He said the barangays that expressed willingness to join the campaign are Barangays Bayabas, Pagatpat, Canitoan, Baikingon, Dansolihon, Bayanga, Mambuaya, Taglimao, Tuburan, Pagalungan, Iponan, Patag, and Kauswagan in District 1.
In District 2, Barangays Bugo, Tablon Cugman, Gusa, FS Catanico, and Balubal signified interest in joining.
