FamilyMart’s Enderun joins PBA’s D-league

Further heightening the action in the Philippine Basketball Association Developmental League (PBA D-League), Japanese convenience store brand FamilyMart and topnotch hospitality management and business administration school Enderun Colleges, team up to form the FamilyMart-Enderun basketball team and announced their official entry to the tournament for its 2019 Aspirants Cup.

Team Coach Pipo Noundou introduced the lineup of 15 promising and talented players with Team Captain Mark Nuñez leading the pack at the press launch held on Jan. 31 at Enderun Colleges in Taguig.

“We are delighted to launch the FamilyMart-Enderun team and bring more excitement in the PBA D-League. Our goal is to establish ourselves as a dominant force within the league and show great games and performances from our players,” Coach Noundou said.

As a new entry to the PBA’s minor league, the franchise aims to provide access and opportunities for its players to hone their skills further and increase the competition in the league.

The 2019 PBA D-League season will open on Feb. 14 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City with 20 teams competing. (pr)
