Anthony Pacana, Poblacion barangay chairman, yesterday said the reelectionist councilor would likely be dropped from his line-up of candidates.

This paper is withholding the name of the barangay councilor until PDEA files a case against him.

There were two others here that were included in the list — one is from Sto. Rosario and another is from Upper Hinaplanon.

Pacana said he would discuss the matter with the other candidates, including the councilor accused by the PDEA of involvement in the drug trade.

The councilor neither confirmed nor denied involvement in the drug trade but said he regrets what he has done in the past. He did not elaborate.

The two other barangay officials in the list did not comment.
