VICE president Maria Leonor ‘Leni’ Gerona Robredo will be on a weekend trip to Northern Mindanao to visit projects and consult with sectoral leaders.
The vice president will reportedly bring her Vax Express here in Cagayan de Oro in partnership with the Department of Health. Her Covid-19 vaccination initiative reportedly targets to inoculate 500 city residents.
She is set to meet with sectoral and religious leaders in her day-long visit to the city.
Leni Tanging Pagasa 2022 (LENI TP2022) convenor for Northern Mindanao BenCy Ellorin admits there are preparations for the vice president’s visit tomorrow.
“As far as we know, the visit is strictly in her capacity as vice president,” said Ellorin, noting further that her presence would definitely boost the morale of her supporters.
Various formations of Robredo’s local supporters LENI TP2022, 1Sambayan, NM4Leni, CDO4Leni, and LP CDO plan to welcome her arrival.
“We can feel the groundswell. Dili malikayan nga gusto gyud siya makita sa katawhan kay her candidacy for president is something the people hold on to survive this abusive regime," a CDO4Leni convenor told Gold Star Daily.
She is also reportedly set to visit a project with Mapalad farmers in Sumilao, Bukidnon, and Marawi City.
Leonardo Villarin, head of the national support group of LENI TP2022 said their group will help bring Robredo’s message to the grassroots.
