Love Revolution

Love Revolution is a movement here in Cagayan de Oro that is being pushed by Bishop Herbert “Bing” Gadian of the Jesus for All Nations International. Bishop Bing as fondly called by his friends was a troubled young man in his teens, he was involved in robbery, extortions, drugs and all sorts of vices. In 1984 after facing a lot of problems he surrendered his life to Jesus saying “Yes, Lord, I’ll follow you for the rest of my life”. Being a changed man Bishop Bing have involved himself in sharing the gospel of Jesus to a lot of people in Cagayan de Oro and have been an instrument in establishing a lot of Evangelical churches in many parts of Mindanao and the Visayas.  Today, together with the Jesus for All Ministries and Network Philippines (JFAMNP), Love Asia Missions Partner Foundation International, Inc. (LAMP Foundation) and Church Multiplication Coalition (CMC) the movement that Bishop Bing that has taken part of has now church outreaches that have to reach up to Asian countries like Myanmar, Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam among others.

I have the opportunity to meet Bishop Bing and asked him about the Love Revolution movement.  Bishop Bing replied “love revolution is the message needed for the millennials to stop and end the destruction of young people with drugs and sexual immorality. The message is the genuine love of God to entire humanity when He sent Jesus Christ to die for sins. Love revolution will end sectarianism and religious war by accepting and loving each other from all different kinds of groups that believe there is a Creator of the universe.”  And I asked Bishop Bing again how is the youth important for tomorrow? “The young people are our future rulers or leaders of this modern age. They need to be open-minded and embrace the message of love even loving our enemies as Jesus taught in the bible. We will produce leaders who are promoters of peace and lovers of all kinds of people. Young people who have high respect for human lives. By embracing and adopting love revolution we want to see people helping to build this nation. Cities are peaceful because everyone has high respect for a different belief. Christians, Muslims, Indigenous People and other religion can live together in the bond of love.” Bishop Bing has promoted and encouraged a lot of talents in Cagayan de Oro as well as mentored a lot of young people who are now successful in their own fields. The Love Revolution movement is going a long way and soon it will empower the youths to become change-makers of our country bringing integrity and moral uprightness for a wholes tic change of our nation. It will be a sight to experience unity among the people living together as one people under God.
