There were no major damages on all buildings in the city during on Tuesday’s earthquake, City Engineer Roland Pacuribot said during a press conference Wednesday.

Pacuribot said that right after the tremor his office was ordered by City Mayor Oscar Moreno to conduct inspections of all government buildings.

However, Pacuribot said personnel from the City Engineering Office have inspected a minor crack on Lapasan and Bugo Elementary school buildings.

“So far, kana raman ang naay damage ug normal man na kung adunay linog hilabi na nga kusog-kusog pud to,” Pacuribot said.

He assured that individuals who are doing transactions with government offices that they have nothing to worry about as they have already declared the buildings safe.

For his part, Engr. Isidro Obligado, Office Building Official, said his office also inspected private-owned buildings.

He said his group did not see any serious damage on the said buildings.
