THE city council has passed two separate ordinances setting aside P49 million to pay for relocation site, and for land banking in barangays Lumbia, Canitoan and Pagapat, Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin Uy said.

Uy said one of the ordinances that was passed cover P25.6 million for the full payment of claims for just compensation, registration and documentation expenses of a lot in Barangay Lumbia.

He said another ordinance was for the appropriation of P23.7 million intended for various properties in barangays Canitoan and Pagatpat.

Uy said the properties were acquired by city hall for resettlement and land banking purposes. (clo)
