THE City Council has adopted Resolution No. 13406-2019, requesting concerned government agencies to exhaust all means to immediately bring to the bar of justice those who are responsible for the tragic demise of Philippine Military Academy Cadet 4th Class Darwin Dormitorio.

Legislators also expressed the city’s sympathy and profound condolences to his bereaved family after news spread that Dormitorio, a PMA cadet 4th Class tragically died on Sept. 18 due to hazing perpetrated by seven PMA upperclassmen.

The hazing incident has clearly violated the Anti-Hazing Law and Anti-Torture Act as the cadet was maltreated, and tortured many times causing the cadet blunt force trauma which resulted to internal hemorrhage and death, the City Council noted.
