The number of pushers users who voluntarily presented themselves was the result of Oplan Tokhang conducted daily by the police said Senior Insp. Arnold  Gaabucayan, local chief of police

He said they then signed a covenant that they will never use or sell shabu again.

Most of them had secretly presented themselves to police since the first day of office of President Rodrigo Duterte, he added.

Kasagaran sa ila gakahadlok na nga basin pamatyon pareha nahitabo sa gikabalita ug maoy usa sab ka rason misekreto nalang ug dool sa police arun safety ilang kinabuhi,” said Gaabucayan.

Gaabucayan added three of the 22 who voluntarily turned themselves in were part of the more or less 300 “drug personalities” in this town who are in the list of known people involved in the illegal activity.

After signing the covenant they were all released and will be back after one month for a drug test Gaabucayan said.

I-drug test gyod na sila after one month kun tinood ba nga nag bag o ug wala na maggamit,” he added.
