Voice and piano coach Eugene Ubalde shared her experience in teaching music.

“As a Coach and a teacher, I’ve come to develop effective ways to teach beginners in Music. It depends on each student’s age, development & personalities. I’ve learned to incorporate fun & play with my students as it tap interests from them,” she said.

Adding that “of course, I go for basic music theory and finger exercises especially for aspiring pianists plus vocalizations and warm up exercises to my voice student I find these fundamental as they learn their individual musical scores or pieces,”

To her music is an expression “As I mature as a musician, I find myself humbled from God’s creativity, indeed He is the author of arts, music and beauty. Music reflects who we are, I prefer seeing positive expressions in arts for communication to the audience. Music is a powerful tool and it needs responsibility,” Ubalde said.

When asked for her message to aspiring musicians she said “Music Industry is a big one. If you are really passionate with your craft, find it fulfilling first and later monetary benefits will follow. Just don’t stop learning music and honed your skills. As I keep on reminding my students, “Practice by the minute not by Hours”. Let Music be part of your everyday life as it’s given by our Creator God.”
