AUTHORITIES today cordoned off a small community near an Iglesia Filipina Independiente church and a public school in Zone 2, Barangay Agusan here after a 44-year-old cashier tested positive for Covid-19.

She tested positive in rapid diagnostic and RT-PCR tests. Police and ronda tanod members sealed off two entry and exit points on MacArthur and Jose Rizal streets near CM Recto Ave. as authorities brought the woman and her relatives to quarantine facilities.

Contact tracing work is ongoing. The female cashier is the 27th documented case in the city since March.
