THE capitol staged a caravan and recognized the efforts of the people who worked for its Misorcares program on Saturday.

The caravan highlighted the week-long celebration of the Misorcares anniversary in the mprovince. Maryden Ocot, provincial coordinator, the caravan included Misorcares workers and others involved in the program implementation from the municipalities and two cities of the province.

“We really have to be thankful because no matter how difficult, our workers in Misorcares, with the Almighty’s guidance and care, were successful in serving people,” said Gov. Yevgeny Vincente Emano. Meanwhile, the capitol focused on delivering services in Lugait town on Friday.

The Lugait outreach was highlighted by the mass wedding of 109 couples officiated by town mayor Willie Lim. Gov. Emano stood as the couples’ principal sponsor, and gave them free wedding rings, wedding cakes and red wine, and food which they shared with their children and other relatives.

The “Bambi sa Misor” program is aimed at bringing capitol services to villages in the province. (advt)
