SUPPORTING the holding of concerts and such activities in Cagayan de Oro, the 18th City Council, during its regular session this week, has enacted an ordinance granting GMA Regional TV-Northern Mindanao 50-percent exemption from payment of Amusement Tax for its sponsored Valentine Concert.
The concert, entitled, “The Sweetheart and the Balladeer: Fun Night Only,” will feature Julie Ann San Jose and Christian Bautista. It will be held on Feb. 10 at the Limketkai Center.
According to the organizers, the proceeds of the concert will go to Xavier Ateneo Night School. (sp)
