SUGBONGCOGON, Misamis Oriental — Governor  Yevgeny Vincente B. Emano and First District Rep. Peter Ubabia both vowed to continue supporting the development of municipal tourism in the province.

In his speech, Unabia said, during the blessing last Saturday of the improved Alibuag Beach Park at Barangay Mangga, here, that more support in the development of tourism of this town.

Ato pang ipalambo ang turismo dinhi sa Sugbongcogon,” said Unabia.

Unabia added he will also push for the development of tourism in all of the towns in the first district of Misamis Oriental.

Kini man gud ang turismo mas dako pa  income niini kontra sa mining nga ang mining maka guba pa sa kinaiyahan,” Unabia said.

Although Emano was not able to attend the blessing ceremony, he sent a text message which was read by his representative Board Member Leonard Winstanley, Provincial ABC Federated president, expressing his congratulations to “Sugbongcogon under the leadership of Mayor Mildred Labgas-Mondigo for another accomplishment in developing tourism in their town.

Mondigo, for her part, expressed her gratitude to both Emano and Unabia for their individual commitments to this town.

The Alibuag Beach Park is owned and developed by the local government of Sugbongcogon has been improved with the budget of P3 million, said Mondigo.

Ang Alibuag Beach Park nakahatag dugang income sa munisipyo samtang makahatag usab time sa mga lumulupyo nga maka bonding ang tagsatagsa nila ka pamilya,” Mondigo said.
