FIXED SALARY FOR BARANGAY OFFICIALS – VICE GOVERNOR JOEY G. PELAEZ attends the First Liga ng mga Barangay Congress to inform the village chiefs of Misamis Oriental of the legislative measure he passed for the benefit of the barangay officials. Vice Governor Pelaez authored a Resolution urging the Senate and Congress to pass a law giving a standard salary to all elected barangay officials, including barangay secretaries and barangay treasurers in the country. Also present during the occasion were Governor Yevgeny Vincente B. Emano and Ex-Officio Provincial Board Member Mario Charlie K. Emano who is the Liga ng mga Barangay Provincial President.
