The proposed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to be entered into by and between the Maria Reyna-Xavier University Hospital and the city government of Cagayan de Oro was favorably approved and endorsed by the City Council committee on health, sanitation and health insurance to the committee on laws and rules for appropriate action.

The MOA cites the commitment of the city government, through the City Health Office, to provide all relevant health programs as mandated by the Department of Health (DOH) by providing health care services in the rural areas of the city.
