ILIGAN City–City police director Leony Roy Ga yesterday announced he was imposing a quota on police precincts in the city in line with the National Police’s “Oplan Tokhang” campaign.

Senior Supt. Ga said each police precinct in the city is required to subject at least 20 households to the “Tokhang” visits each month.

The city has five police stations covering 44 barangays.

Ga said some 4,300 “drug personalities” in the city have so far responded to the “Oplan Tokhang” campaign since President Duterte assumed office.

Ga has ordered anti-drug “recoridas” around the city whereby anti-drugelated announcements through loudspeakers on patrol cars are made.

But there were also mysterious killings of drug suspects here, including the husband of a barangay chairperson.

President Duterte has named at least two police officers here as among those in his drug list. It turned out that one of the two died two years ago while the other was not in the city.
