A MAGNITUDE 4.4 earthquake struck the province of Davao Occidental yesterday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
In its bulletin, the agency said the tremor occurred at 10:55 am with the epicenter traced 164 kilometers southeast of Sarangani in Davao Occidental.
The agency noted that the temblor, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of 166 kilometers.
It added that there was no casualty or damage reported from the quake and also not expecting aftershock. –pna
