City Police Director Senior Supt. Roy Ga said the city government is now mulling a mandatory drug testing on all of its employees. He did not say though how many might be involved. But up to the present and beginning the start of Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s administration, some 4,300 have already responded to the city’s Oplan Tokhang.

Now, Ga added, they are gaining momentum in their drug operations. With Oplan Tokhang, he said barangay officials and some non-government organizations even as they are also doing the “double barrel.”

But if funds for mandatory testing would not suffice they might just have the random testing and they had met on the matter together with Mayor Celso Regencia, other officials of the city, and concerned citizens.
