BUTUAN City — A 15-year old suspected drug pusher allegedly notorious in selling shabu and his 31-year old adult companion, who is in police illegal drugs watchlist were arrested in shabu buy-bust operation at Amakan, Barangay Fort Poyohon, Butuan City Friday evening.

The minor is the youngest suspected shabu pusher so far to be arrested in Caraga Region. However, there have been earlier police reports claiming that there are many minors, younger than 15 years old, selling illegal drugs in the streets across Caraga Region.

Authorities said they could be found in bus and jeepney terminals, in parks, and other crowded areas in an attempt to help their parents and family to survive out of dire poverty.

Butuan City Police Station 2 Anti-Illegal Drug Unit headed by Officer-in-Charge Senior Insp. Roland N. Orcullo who conducted shabu buy bust operation collared the 15-year old suspected and his companion RandoSisonRabaya, 31, both residents of Purok-6, Barangay. Fort Poyohon, Butuan City.

Seized from the minor drug suspect was one plastic sachet of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia with disposable lighters and four already empty plastic sachets with alleged shabu residue.

Recovered from the possession of Rabaya were three sachets of suspected shabu, cash money, a mobile phone, and drug paraphernalia.

The arrested suspects and the confiscated items were brought to the Butuan City Police Station 2 for proper disposition.

Violation of Sections 5 and 11, Art II of RA 9165 are being prepared for filing in court in inquest proceedings against Rabaya, while violation of Sections 11 and 12, Article II of RA 9165 will be filed against the minor.
