The city government, through the Local Aids Council, is now preparing for the commemoration of World Aids Day on Dec. 1.
Councilor Maria Lourdes Gaane, chair of the City Council committee on health and vice-chair of the Local Aids Council, convened the body last week to finalize activities that will be highlighted for the affair.

World Aids Day is observed across the world to raise awareness and support global efforts against the HIV stigma. (sp)
