THREE robbery suspects who victimized an establishment at Barangay Agusan yesterday were arrested by elements assigned at the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (Cocpo) yesterday morning.

Police Col. Aaron Mandia, Cocpo chief, identified the suspects as Joel Paragoso, 26, married, a resident of Sitio Kalampion, Barangay Paitan, Quezon; Zaldy Trazona, 48, single, residing at Barangay kibanggay, Lantapan; and John Mark Paberecio of Barangay Paitan, all of Bukidnon.

The suspects allegedly robbed David pharma distributor located at zone 5, Tin ao, Barangay Agusan, this city on Monday at 1:30 am.

Another suspect, a certain Dante Legaspi of Sitio Magsal, Guinoyuran, Valencia City of the same province was able to evade arrest. He remains at large.

Authorities first arrested Paberecio who in turn guided the arresting elements to the whereabouts of the other suspects.

Cocpo’s police station 6 led by Police Lt. Angel Winston Salvacion, Assistant station commander, with direct supervision of Police Major Peter Tajor, station commander, immediately conducted a hot pursuit operation against the suspects.

As a result, Paragoso was arrested while at Busco, Quezon at 7:30 am. and Trazona at Barangay Aglayan, Malaybalay City, all of the said province.

The raiding team was able to seize from the suspects’ possession different amounts of cash money believed to be part of the P20,000 loot.

All the suspects are now temporarily detained at the PS6 mini-cell awaiting the filing of appropriate charges.
