The mayor further noted that the new health insurance will allow employees to choose any private hospital for health check-ups and necessary admissions without worrying about the cost.

This flexibility is expected to improve health care access and affordability for all city hall employees.

Additionally, Mayor Uy has ordered the Human Resource Management Department to prepare a list of city employees to streamline the billing process for the proposed health insurance program.

“This is in line with the city’s effort to ensure a smooth transition to the new health coverage,” said Lumbatan.

This announcement has been lauded as a progressive move towards improving the welfare of the city’s employees.

Workers at city hall are optimistic about the increased access to healthcare and the financial security that the new health insurance scheme will provide.

According to Lumbatan, Mayor Uy’s initiative is part of a larger commitment to improve the lives of city hall employees.

The mayor’s office will continue to work towards creating better working conditions and providing more benefits for the city’s hardworking public servants, Lumbatan stressed.
