ILIGAN City ― Who is PACQ? Pastor Apollo Carreon Quiboloy, of course. Who is very much making news these days?

So, where before we see his name only from time to time being taken in vain, now we see his face flashed through several screws, I mean screens.

In his early seventies, we can see that he is still “gl” or good-looking. Assuming that such pics are not edited. Or filtered. In those pictures on screen, we see the eyes on his face darting from left to right or vice versa. But we do not hear his voice, only the movement of the mouth. Not necessarily that his voice is silent for us not to hear. With this, I remember some lyrics of a song, “Silent Voices” which says” I hear the silent voices/ those endless silent voices/ and when the night gets longer/ I hear them getting stronger/ until they’re driving me insane…”

But this is not about us, hearing voices. It is about PACQ hearing not “silent” ones, but noisy voices Coming from several bodies, like the Senate, the House of Representatives, the Department of Justice, and offshore, from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

So, a report from somewhere about Quiboloy says that at one time, as he was speaking to some supporters, his voice cracked. Meaning, that this “powerful” person who is the “Son of God” is feeling some weighty emotions. But in the next sentences, he returns to sounding defiant.

Some cast of characters involved in this particular narrative: Risa Hontiveros, this feisty lady articulating the complaints filed by children and women whom PACQ had well, let’s just say, “encountered.” She says that Q behaves “differently” There are others who were summoned to the Senate body like high government officials, or rich people. And others. They all came to say their side.

But not Quiboloy, she said. And with his supporters rallying for him, including FPPRD and VP Sara. When interviewed by journalist Malou Mangahas, Risa wondered aloud why the VP had her feelings for PACQ instead of those children and young women who had complained about the supposed acts on them by the man. Also. asked about whether the rallyists would become bigger, leading to another revolution like the EDSA then, she said “This is different.” The EDSA was about kicking out a dictator.

Lawyer Salvador Panelo said that PACQ is “just a collateral damage? What? Collateral damage on what? The plot seems to thicken here. Other casts include Robin Padilla. Who doesn’t like Risa and what the Senate body is doing to Q. “Because,” Robin says, “Quiboloy is a good friend!”

Oh, by the way, some side stories about the guy. His wife, Mariel received some flak because of some “liquid” inserted into her that would make her more pretty, which was done in the vicinity of the Senate. And that thing was “not even legal.” And why too in the vicinity of the Senate?

The senator said that what was inserted to his wife was “just vitamins.”

We too have Sen. Imee Marcos, Cynthia Villar, and JV Ejercito agreeing with Robin although it is reported that he has withdrawn his signing. They need 8 signatures. Which seems a hard task.

The House has a different concern vs. Quiboloy, Risa said. Because it concerns the SMNI, the network of PACQ, and is also loved by DU30. Oh, by the way too, Hontiveros says that if PACQ faces the Senate, the body should pay for his hotel, his food, and everything. That’s what he told Mangahas in the interview stopping short though, of saying that the guy must be “spoiled.”

I cannot remember whether it was VP Sara who said that the guy Quiboloy is subjected to “trial by publicity.”

The voices in the said bodies say that the guy should air his side on those subjects against him.

Regarding the perceived “power” of the guy, I met Danny, a friend from Gensan saying that the guy could make things “Stop”‘ Although, at the moment, I am wondering why he couldn’t stop those bodies that I have named earlier, “stop” ganging, I mean, summoning him.

Mike, my nerdy friend, said that the guy could only stop earthquakes and typhoons.

I disagreed with him. Why didn’t the guy whisper in the ear of DU30 who was still the President then to have the: KAPA as in::”Kabus Padatoon” of another Pastor Joel Apolinario stop? Of course, that was a Ponzi scheme, as in “robbing Peter to pay Paul” thing.

And it stopped. To the dismay of people who entered late in the game!
