Oroquieta City — It’s a Montero Sport again.

A Montero Sport with plate number NSI 167 went berserk as it travel along the highway by the Oroquieta City Jail, this city Tuesday afternoon.

According to Dexcel Micarandayo––who witnessed the incident while he was riding his motorcycle––he saw cloud of thick smoke coming from the muffler of the vehicle when it suddenly swerved to its right across a canal.

The vehicle’s rear right bounced right of the concrete perimeter wall of the city jail and ran to the left across the street and straight into the street’s culvert.

Chris Ray Lituanias, who was driving the Montero Sport told the Gold Star Daily he was just driving the vehicle at slow speed when all of a sudden the brakes would not work and the steering wheel went stiff.

Lituanias suffered minor injuries on his hands while his wife, who was seated beside him has also been treated for contusions in a nearby hospital.
