On its 5th year, the National Communication Research Conference (NCRC) organized annually by the Communication Research Department of the College of Mass Communication of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, will be conducted this year as Communication Research International Conference (CRIC) on September 22-23, 2016 at the Diliman campus.
It will have speakers and attendees from the Asean Region.
Ariel Sebellino, president of the Philippines Communication Society (PCS) and concurrent executive director of the Philippine Press Institute (PPI) and Dr. Neny E. Pernia, dean of the college, signed the Terms of Reference (TOR) for the conference in the presence of CommRes faculty members and PCS officers. The PCS is a co-convenor.
The PCS is the organization of communication and communication research educators, experts and students, media executives, and communication practitioners. It promotes communication as a social science discipline. (pr)
