Emano made the announcement a week after he was reelected as Misamis Oriental’s governor.

He said he has informed Misamis Oriental police director Senior Supt. Manuel Alvarez that the capitol would give “incentives” to police officers who succeed in capturing people involved in the illegal  drug trade and other crime suspects. He did not give details except to say that the rewards would come from his intelligence funds.

“Dili kini magamit sa fall guy kay ato man pod nga sigurohon nga ang police nga makadakop sa suspect iya gyud nga mapasaka-an sa kaso, dili kay tomo-tomo ra, kay ang police man pod ang masumbalikan kon magtomo-tono siya,” Emano said.

Emano’s announcement came as he met with Alvarez at the Misamis Oriental training center yesterday morning. (nitz arancon)
