ON March 13, 2016, Members gathered all together for the 20th Annual general assembly of Oro Savings & Sharing Multi-Purpose Cooperative at the Capitol University Gymnasium, here in our city.

“Addressing Cooperative challenges and Sustaining Members’ Participation” is the theme of this year’s annual general assembly.  This will enable the members as co-owners to be informed and be updated for its operations and accomplishments as well as how the cooperative maintain its solid foundation towards challenges that it encountered.

“Let us also remind ourselves that WE are all members and co-owners of Oro Savings and Sharing Multi-Purpose Cooperative. We are the reason why our cooperative exists. We are tasked to pursue responsibilities to our cooperative with even greater passion and excellence, and maximized opportunities to contribute more effectively to build a sturdy and strong cooperative” said in a message by Chairperson Clemencia Q. Neri and Chief Executive officer Gilda R. Echavez.

The event was fully packed with the presence of the management team, officers, board of Directors and hundreds and thousands of members who patiently and eagerly participated during the course of business forum.  Questions and inquiries were answered satisfactorily with supporting data to provide a clear picture for the participants.

The ambient, awards, gifts, foods, live dance performance ignited the members cheerfully plus the education and information the management presented, members were so deeply happy and satisfied for what the cooperative provided them. It was another great day of success with a bang.
