BUTUAN City — A suspected snatcher, who allegedly uses illegal drugs shabu before robbing people, was arrested by police operatives less than two kilometers away from where the Police Regional Office 13 where PNP Chief was giving his speech in his first official visit in the region on Monday.
Official report from Butuan City Police identified the suspected snatcher as Bernardo Tocmo Naraiso, 31.
Police said Naraiso was arrested past 9 am on Monday less in front office of the Uraya Land Development.
In a report written by PO3 Anthony Echin of the Butuan City Central Police Station information office, Naraiso was arrested after he victimized Dominga Caharasan Mantatao, 47, in a snatching incident in front Uraya office where the victim’s wallet containing money was snatched by Naraiso
When cornered and arrested, police probers confiscated from Naraiso’s possession, one medium-sized sachet of suspected shabu, P1,200 cash money contained inside the wallet, and various debit cards.
