Gingoog City — This city’s assistant city health officer will be presenting her initiative and idea on anti-tubercolosis programs in Liverpool, London, said  Vice Mayor Ruth Guingona.

Guingona announced yesterday that Dr. Agnes Centino will fly to London next month to attend the International Convention by the International Union Against TB and Lungs Disease. The convention is scheduled on Oct. 26 to 29.

The vice mayor was proud as she recognized the initiative and effort of Centino.

Centino, who recently received the national award of Bayani ng Kalusugan 2016, is a pride of Gingoog City said Guingona.

Dako kaayo atong garbo nga usa ka doktora taga Gingoog mag presentar sa TB program ubos sa iyang inisyatibo ug idea ngadto sa London,” said Guingona.

Governor Yevgeny Vincente Emano, for his part, also recognized and appreciated Centino for bringing her initiative and idea specially TB programs to the international community.

Dili lang garbo si Dr. Centino sa dakbayan sa Gingoog apan garbo usab siya sa tibook lalawigan sa Misamis Oriental,” Emano said.

City Councilor Winfred Militante, Jr. authored the resolution recognizing the initiative and effort Dr. Centino at the city council, here.
