BUTUAN City — A second year college student of Fr. Saturnino Urios University was arrested in a buy-bust operations by Butuan City Public Safety Company on Monday afternoon making him the third student in Caraga region allegedly peddling illegal drugs arrested.
Butuan City police identified the suspect as Lyndon Lake Urbiztondo, 23, single, resident of Barangay Mahogany, Butuan City and Second Year College Criminology student of Father Saturnino Urios University this city.
Police investigation result showed morning Monday, the suspect reported to school but n the afternoon, police operatives set an a buy bust operation against him and at Durano St. this city he was positively arrested for accepting a marked money from a police operative posing as buyer.
Police said the suspect was riding in a single motorcycle without plate number when he was arrested.
Caught from the possession of Urbiztondo were three plastic sachets of suspected shabu estimated to worth P3,000, P500 bill used as marked money and drug paraphernalia.
Urbiztondo and seized item are now in the custody of Butuan City Police. Charges will be filed today, police here said. (Ben Serrano)
